Amalgam Dance Company offers students and alumni of East Tennessee State University a creative outlet, a supportive community, continued dance education, and performance opportunities. We believe in the exploration of movement as a transformative vessel of expression. Our artistic values include innovative storytelling, unique choreography, collaboration, and versatility. Characterized by integrity and diligence, Amalgam Dance Company seeks to produce professional work through a personal process. Individuals are seen, known, and respected within a unified whole. In addition to providing a performance platform and promoting dance in the local community, Amalgam is a safe haven for young adults in ever-evolving seasons of life.
